In response to the pressing issue of over 35 million financially deprived students unable to complete their basic education, Shriram Automall initiated the SAMIL Junior Einstein Education Scholarship Program as part of our CSR effort, SAMIL Muskan. We are committed to the comprehensive development of the pre-owned automobile ecosystem and society at large.
Recognizing that education can be challenging for many in the transport fraternity, we launched this scholarship program in 2013, aimed at providing financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students within the community. Since then, we have granted over 4,000 scholarships, transforming the lives of underprivileged students nationwide. In the fiscal year 2022-23 alone, we supported approximately 1,000 children, and we anticipate these numbers will continue to grow significantly in the future.
At SAMIL, we recognize that planting a tree signifies planting the seeds of a greener and more hopeful future. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, Shriram Automall has undertaken tree planting initiatives, resulting in the cultivation of over 3,000 trees. These efforts have been conducted on numerous significant occasions, including Automall Anniversaries, new Automall Inaugurations, Exclusive Auction Events, Environment Day, Earth Day, Pollution Control Day, and festive celebrations. To mark the 12th SAMIL Utsav, we planted an additional 300+ trees at 120+ Automalls where festivities were held. Our dedication to fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations remains unwavering, ensuring they inherit a world with fresher air to breathe.

In India, climate changes and irregular monsoons have led to drinking water shortages in many regions. This initiative addresses the pressing issue of nearly 6% of India's population lacking access to clean drinking water.
